Billy Graham Quotes

Billy Graham was an American Christian evangelist and preacher who played a pivotal role in shaping the modern evangelical movement. He was born on November 7, 1918, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 99.

Graham grew up in a family that attended a Presbyterian church, but it wasn’t until he attended a revival meeting at the age of 16 that he committed his life to Christ. He attended Bob Jones College for a brief period before transferring to Florida Bible Institute, where he graduated in 1940.

Graham also played a significant role in the civil rights movement. He also advised several U.S. presidents, including Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon.

In addition to his preaching, Graham authored several books, including “Peace with God” and “The Holy Spirit.” He also founded Christianity Today, a popular Christian magazine.
